Paper placemat

These are extremely easy to make, easier than quilling I would say.


Fold reused paper into tiny strips across the length and breadth as shown. Use the length-wise strip as an anchor and paste the breath-wise ones to it to for the frame of your placemat.
 Weave through it the remaining strips. And seal only the ends with glue
Paint it to match your decor.

Peacock quilling with newspaper on a recyced tin

I have used a tin as the base
 Newspaper roll quills are used to make this peacock, and then a splash of acrylic colour for the desired output

Photo frame - Quilling with recycled material




A photo frame made with recycled carton box cardboard, newspaper rolls used as quilling paper.



This is the frame as work in progress, the paper roll has been cut diagonally and I gave it a brown colour for a wood finish
